One of the most difficult things when it comes to eating fairly healthy is figuring out a dessert that can be both delicious and not give you a heart attack. I tend to lean a lot towards anything and everything with Nutella, trying to justify it by saying it has the same nutritional value as peanut butter...in moderation. (I'm not sure if that's actually true or not, so don't take my word for it).
Anyway, I'm looking for some more healthy treats and desserts.
Any suggestions?
Hmm. The struggle is very real when trying to create a dessert that's yummy, healthy, and cheap. You might want to start with a base of fruit to add a healthy kick. That way, you know you're using something good for you, even if you combine it with something tastier like ice cream or nutella.
ReplyDeleteI'd say using some yogurt and fruit or something like that would be awesome or like a parfait
ReplyDeleteIt's not really a traditional dessert but I always loved spreading organic peanut butter (or nutella if you want!) on multi grain rice cakes!
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion making smoothies has endless possibilities for combinations and depending on what you put into it, it can be very healthy.
